This was my introduction to yaoi and manhwa in general back in 2017. I recently tried to read it again. I genuinely couldn't finish it and the reason was Sangwoo. Not because of the brutality or all of the assaults or all of the manipulation that he does. Maybe this is controversial but I couldn't bear all of the anguish, the anxiety and the mental agony that he goes through towards the last part of the series. Be careful, it's not my intention to excuse all the shit that he did, there is no excuse for none of it. What I'm trying to say is that, almost 10 years later, Sangwoo's mental agony and trauma affected me in ways that I didn't expect and I don't really know what to do with that information. I just felt that I struggled along with him and that was too much for me.
