That’s how I’ve been reading it. There are his other quotes too (“My way out.”, “It’s just you and me, from start to finish.”) He talks like he’s expecting to die once he’s finished with his goals and plans. Either that or he literally has no vision for his own future/life path.

But also maybe it’s just not that deep lol. He is undoubtedly very empty underneath the cool facade he keeps up though.
