Possible spoilers below...
It feels like Auclair's struggling with some suicidal tendencies, possibly for Sayeon to inherit her relic, story-wise. She needs some sort of power-up at this point. And while it seems that the relic suits Auclair a bit too well, Sayeon is too smart for it to go to waste.
But there's another thing... could Ishaan be Butcher's little brother? They look so much alike that they could actually be twins! Though their powers are too different... so are their morals, right? Also, there seems to be a parallel between them and Samin/Sayeon. Then Ishaan might be the one who ends up dying, while the relic will be passed down to Sayeon anyway.
It really feels like someone's gonna die!
