What chapter did you reach?
The "dead mansion" in the initial chapters are the "villain introductions", basically, not just abuse, they are raising child soldiers.
The following chapters are the protagonist agoing against them?
But from what I'm reading on the comments, it seems that the story got dropped???? And it made some "bad character design choice"?
I've yet to reach those chapters. Still contemplating if keep reading it. Or it will just waste my time.
But at least, I can say that, it is showing abuse to then fight that abuse. It actually have a good start from a writing point of view

By abuse, i meant that they're abusing the childrens, raising child soldiers is form of abuse.
I don't remember what really happened since it's been 2 months since i dropped it, but i do remember that the MC ended up teaming with the dead mansion (which i really hated) after being threatened.
I also dropped it because i didn't appreciate how one of the fem character is being sexualised as hell plus she's practically worshipping MC.
IMO, you should drop it. It's just another slop with a good premise.
