Man this last chapter was satisfying. She can’t trust NOBODY man, not even the head mage who was talking big about “protecting her to the bitter end” not too long ago. He was just sitting there like a lump on a log while the FL had to handle everything by herself. I hope her family gets f*cked over somehow in the long run and I hope the crown prince gets a big fat reality check from the FL soon. Even if he was under some mind-control spell or some other bullsh*t in the past she was still abused, imprisoned and killed because of him. The prince is garbage either way, but if he’s still doing all of this with his memories of the past in tact then he’s an entire flaming trash heap.
