thank you. people are so impatient as if reflection over your actions just happens easily. especially in a historical setting. they also dont even try to get into riftans head to understand him. he also suffered so much, watching his wife almost die twice. its only natural to keep her away from every danger
I hope after this arc will be Riftan's POV. Before they delve into time skip and Pamela Plateau. I'm so tired of seeing such whatnot comments. I understand you know nothing of the novel, but holy the way you describe this couple as if there aren't worst couples out there.
Making worst decisions my bum, wait until Princess Agnes ruin it all for the sake of the empire's "peace" and keeping Riftan in control cause he's getting so much power. Y'all don't see past the act that Riftan doesn't like the idea of exposing her wife out there, by putting Maxi in a trial, when all her life she's hidden this vulnerability. Only the situation that day? Don't you think her history will be looked up as to the reason why they were there that day and that made Riftan so furious? This chapter did nothing but explain how devastated Riftan was, having to compare him to that monster of a father. All it did was highlight Maxi's disappointment when in the novel she was actually sad that she's causing Riftan trouble. Uggghhh. My head!
Can't wait for Season 3's hiatus.
