thank you. people are so impatient as if reflection over your actions just happens easily. especially in a historical setting. they also dont even try to get into riftans head to understand him. he also suffered so much, watching his wife almost die twice. its only natural to keep her away from every danger
I don't think it'll make that much difference anyway. I believe most of the manhwa readers already have a hunch that most of the characters grew up very poor and abused.
Exactly. Imagine losing the source of your strength, all your life has been chasing. All for the "sake" of some empire who didn't really cared about you before you had all this fame.
And that's the thing I'm so upset about this. As a reader, you have to have this understanding that each piece has different touch to it. Authors have different story to tell. But because of this "standard" of what's green and red, they don't read between the lines that make up the spirit of the book. :(
And honestly, the manhwa has been lacking emotions lately. Only the strong emotions, not the sorrow, the emotional fit of their forlornness.. if they still don't depict the exact sorrow of Riftan's gone through, then for sure, nothing will change :(
riftans expressions are iften hidden from the reader which i really dont like… i hope we will get the side story / riftans pov in this manhwa soon. this man has a lot if big feelings he doesnt show
I hope after this arc will be Riftan's POV. Before they delve into time skip and Pamela Plateau. I'm so tired of seeing such whatnot comments. I understand you know nothing of the novel, but holy the way you describe this couple as if there aren't worst couples out there.
Making worst decisions my bum, wait until Princess Agnes ruin it all for the sake of the empire's "peace" and keeping Riftan in control cause he's getting so much power. Y'all don't see past the act that Riftan doesn't like the idea of exposing her wife out there, by putting Maxi in a trial, when all her life she's hidden this vulnerability. Only the situation that day? Don't you think her history will be looked up as to the reason why they were there that day and that made Riftan so furious? This chapter did nothing but explain how devastated Riftan was, having to compare him to that monster of a father. All it did was highlight Maxi's disappointment when in the novel she was actually sad that she's causing Riftan trouble. Uggghhh. My head!
Can't wait for Season 3's hiatus.
