Ngl, reading the novel had me strongly disliking both of these dickheads. They’re the kind of toxic where they have no business being around each other. I didn’t find any part of how they interact relatable, and just hoped they’d find happiness away from each other. All they seemed to do well together is hurt each other & send mixed messages. The way the mc lives in his head seems more like personality disorder stuff, tbh. He’s delusional.
