We all hated him when we see the povs of the ones he hurt like chase. But here, we get to see other people's pov like Dane to see what kind of person he truly is, without bias. The previous chapters already show that he is not the evil person kmyic portrayed him as. We are slowly learning about his mental condition and his own struggles in this story.
