Yeah... I don't blame people being put off by the age gap, especially considering Griz was technically Twilight's assigned guardian. To his credit, his intention was strictly to be a caretaker and for Twilight to grow up like a normal kid, the disappearance and 4 year seperation just kind of twisted that initial obsession into what it's become now
Though I wouldn't exactly say "I wasn't planning to do anything inappropriate with him while he was underage" is a great defence either, he was at least mature enough to not groom a child. He's weird as hell, but he's not a complete degenerate (˘￢⩊￢˘;)

If 4 years had passed and Griz who is now 32 still came after towa who he thought was 17years old… kinda weird how how Griz was in love with a 13 year old back … okay i know Towa is 28 years old now so it’s fine, but still.. damn
