''Bottom complex " & portraying bottoms as nothing more than Victims . Needs to be stopped. You all need to start seeing bottoms as a human who can also have flaws and personality first. Commenters who say , Nanjo hate , nanjo hate ? Where i don't see it anywhere ? I haven't seen one comment mentioning they hate Nanjo. But the moment someone says they dislike Nanjo or show little sympathy for top , commenters who are bottom complex holders : it's Nanjo hate . Do they even realise DISLIKE & HATE are two different words and are vast different from eachother in meaning? Dislike isn't equivalent to hate . Please read dictionary . Just cuz you like a character because they are a victim . Doesn't mean everyone needs to do that . People can have different reasons to not like a character ╮(￣▽￣)╭. God forbid, people can't even take sides of two characters now . Bunch of stupid asses with zero comprehension skills & knowledge . Only Genuine readers who have actually read the story properly know, all three of them suck .
Also, when are we going to normalize that pointing out a character’s flaws doesn’t mean you hate them or even dislike them?! Sometimes it’s literally criticism coming from a place of love! IRL, just because I’m aware of my sister's or my BFF's flaws doesn’t mean I hate them. We all need people in our lives who won't hesitate to call us out when we’re wrong (without us creating unnecessary drama and getting triggered like they personally offended us. Like, here's a life advice: if the people around you are scared to call you out when you mess up, just know you’re toxic and need to work on yourself!). We need people who don't hesitate to expand our horizons so we can see the world from a broader, deeper, and more mature perspective…even if that means pushing us to realize just how much we fucked up...
Readers here are literally suffering from a savior complex toward Nanjo, just like Nanjo had toward Sunhwa, and that whole dynamic is fucked up to the core, lmao.
Some people are still spinning in endless circles, solely to spew hate with zero self-awareness, maturity, or even an ounce of emotional intelligence. These people literally just read the surface level, stare at the panels in front of them, and completely miss any actual depth to the characters! They claim Mok is evil just because his actions were wrong, and preach that Nanjo is a saint simply because he’s a victim (in the specific way the author presented it)! As if Mok deserves eternal damnation for being a flawed, mistake-making human, while Nanjo deserves a set of wings to be promoted to an angel with a badge of honor.
They even think a character hitting absolute rock bottom mentally and emotionally to the point of considering ending his life is the "best redemption arc" and a well-deserved punishment…like "what else did he expect after everything he did?" (as if it’s somehow totally normal for someone to commit suicide just because they got dumped, when the relationship was toxic, unnatural, and unhealthy from the start)!
Oh, and let's not forget how Mok is apparently this "player who sleeps with anything that breathes from every corner of the earth, including Sunhwa's partners" when the reality is, the BIGGEST trash move is letting your alleged lover sleep with two people at the same time! And letting someone literally watch something private and intimate like your sex life... all under the name of 'LOVE'!
And the funniest part is them expecting one of the leads to chase the other (and preferably Mok, so he can get humiliated and degraded even more..’cause he’s obviously the root cause of every disaster, including the hole in the ozone layer!). Didn’t I tell you they’re narrow-minded and ignore every single detail? They don't have the brain cells to grasp the maturity and character development the author is trying to highlight through psychological healing which is supposed to trigger a complete transformation. If Nanjo chases Mok, the plot becomes trash and illogical. And if Mok goes back to chasing Nanjo, we’re right back to square one, making the entire healing arc completely meaningless and pointless! Tell me the truth, don't be shy: is this level of stupidity a personal achievement, or is it just driven by your narcissism ‘casuse you think you're the smartest and most enlightened person here? I swear, just like there's feminism and masculinism, it seems like there’s a whole new complex on the market called the 'Bottom Complex,' and we seriously need an official scientific term for it at this point.
Sorry for the rant here, but I’ve had it with people completely missing the point of the content and fabricating this holy, angelic background for characters, when in reality, ALL THREE OF THEM are walking garbage who need to mature and face consequences proportional to their mistakes! All 3 are full of flaws as much as they have good traits. But stripping the Top of every single good trait just to project perfection onto the Bottom is a joke that’s not even funny anymore. This mass hysteria needs to stop, right now!
