Well I don't think that he had those ability during his sanctuary work with bears before. He was just a normal vet volunteer working at sanctuary that time.
yeah but he says that he had a hard time there because he could understand them. he says that but he shouldn’t have had the ability then

I thought the same too! I guess its a plot holes. I only realized it when I reread this again, because clearly stated he got his ability only after he open his own clinic
exactly my thought. ig it was something on my mind bcuz silvers birthday wasn’t too many chapters before, so it made me realize that it had only been a year since then. but yeah guess it’s just a little plot hole
