I am new to this series. I do like Grayson but some comments mentioned how dislikeable he is in the "kiss me if you can" manhwa. So went and read ch 35 and 36 and boy is that horrifying. If there isn't any actual context to that, he is detested by chase miller it seems. For now I'd like to separate this story from that

If u do hav spoilers or actual context to what he did to chase miller, can you tell me?

So as you can see Grayson's f up in the head, that's due to him being a dominant alpha who are all pretty detached from feelings and all that stuff. Grayson himself has trouble understanding any of his own emotions, but his father who's also nearly emotionless (due to a lot of different reason like his parents who had the most toxic and tragic story in the "If you Can" verse) fell in love wich is why he wants to fall in love to feel smt.

As u read, you see that Dominant alphas need to release their pheromones frequently or it can have direct consequences like brain damage or death, but Chase, unlike the rest of his siblings who are all psychopathic can feel empathy and a bunch of other stuff despite being dominant. And bcs of his own beliefs he can't handle sleeping around bcs he's a dominant alpha, but as I've said before not releasing ur pheromones when u're dominant=death or brain damage, so Chase uses medication wich has very bad side effects. As time goes on his body develops resistances making him take stronger medication wich might also greatly damage his health and body (what happened to their father actually).

So Grayson was pressuring him to go to pheromone parties, but Chase refused to sleep w anyone, so one day when Chase was going through his rut, at the end of it, Grayson came into his room w his dog Alex i think? And let Chase assume he had slept w the dog (Chase was feeling refreshed after his rut when he usually feels like shit wich meant his instincts got satisfied).

Thinking that this would push Chase to finally start sleeping around and release his pheromones (Grayson thought he was helping him, and i'm srs he genuinely believes that), but as a result Chase went into a panic attack and shot the dog to death.

So these pheromones which that dangerous, Grayson has been exposed to them since birth. So they have damaged his brain to a great extent. But as someone who has read all thr novels, i can confidently say that he never had any malicious intent towards anyone. All he wanted was to take care of ppl he loved, its just that he didn't knw how to. Also grayson has first tried ro convince Chase in every way possible, this lie was his last resort.

I think it was mentioned in desire only that Grayson volunteered to help Stewart in his research purposes (that is ofcourse reasearch of Dom Alphas and omegas). And in KMIYC, it was mentioned that there have never been any alpha to be on injections for so long so so they don't have proper research on that. Also Chase and stewart conversation was there where Stewart was mentioning abt the dog and bliss (idr exactly) so chase said to him sadly that didn't happen otherwise you would have gotten ome more brother as a lab rat. So idr if this has been specifically mentioned or not but by connecting the dots u can say that Grayson had no reason to volunteer for this unless it was for Chase.

Also I recently completed Kiss the Stranger which is another novel frm the series, That stewart was there too and he did some things out of his curiosity that almost took the omega's life. So i am highly doubting this dr now. I think there must be more to it. He really wants to experiment on Alpha n Omegas.

Wtf where are y’all getting this information Alex is ALIVE Chase literally NEVER slept with the dog he thinks he did he slept with Josh thats how Pete was born he definitely pressured chase to go to the parties he thought he was helping him which was obviously bullshit and from then on chase started to really hate Grayson

Yes I also know alex was alive and often present in dmiyc. Maybe the commenter assumed he died. And about the dog, they said it right. Grayson let chase assumed it. We all know he didn't.

I hope there will be more exploration on this part in side stories. I want side stories

He really is dislikable to a sane person haha. He is a flawed character. But when he says he did it all to help they were all true. That was his intention.

So in his brain as long as you arrive to your expected means that's being helpful. Example: you like something in a store but dont have the money? Just take it (even if it's stealing) because then you arrive at your desired end anyway. This person is a bad guy? Let's kill him.

He means well but his method is not governed by morals, just the end. He didnt have guidance growing up, ashley was kinda the same as him so no guidamce there aboyt warmth whereas koi is the type of parent that always see his children as angels no matter what they do- which is equally bad because it affirms they didnt do anything wrong so nothing needs ti be fixed.

The best thing about greyson is that he believed in love. He had an ideal. He may look like a jerk to his exes whom he soon determines to be not his true love but he is still right.

Out of all the stories in the series ive read i love greyson's the most. He taught Dane what is love too despite being the one called defective
