And maybe because I'm reading it in one go but I didn't see anywhere where Hyeon got rejected. Actually, both of them just assumed things on their own.
First, on their graduation, seme actually said yes on his request. Even planned to continue that relationship even just physical but he was ghosted right after. Tho true his ego might have been bruised because it felt like he was dumped. Lol
Then the next was the dad thing. It's understandable for the seme to misunderstand things. And also his fault for not asking.
In the end, those misunderstandings actually helped the seme realized what is he actually feeling. To be honest, I've been laughing at his pov since the beginning cuz it shows that he was actually whipped for Hyeon but too dumb to realize until he was cut off. Haha. While also Hyeon assumed that he was just back for a fling considering he knows he only dated girls. Both are actually valid, and I can't find any fault or stupidity around it.
