Because xinlu is genuinely a piece of shit tbh and he always been but he's treated like a princess so he doesn't know that!
as for yuri tbh I don't think it was harmless at all no matter what he says his reason was it was also true that he was captivated and taken by xinlu's looks which is very disturbing...
As far as my opinion goes I'm still against whatever happened when Yuri was drunk, maybe it would've felt easier to swallow if Xinlu didn't leave Yuri in the floor covered in cum for the whole night and his whole charity comment, even if Yuri liked what happened he still said he wouldn't wish for it to happen again so guess that sums it up, as for Yuri in that certain scene I don't know what to think of it cuz like Xinlu said even if he wanted to save him and was waiting for him to loose his consciousness a normal person wouldn't have such look in his eyes while looking at a child drowning, as far as it goes I like Yuri's character...he's calm and his vibe feels peaceful but I wouldn't support him on this specific matter. Cuz as harmless as it was from Yuri's perspective it still stuck so much with Xinlu as a trauma to the point it affected how he viewed ocean or any water source entirely!
