The backstory just makes me think ML really needs to connect with more people in his life and he’s really putting the MC on a huge pedestal. Like it reminds me of “Check Out My Manager” in terms of alarming levels of co-dependency except this series is looking at it way more lightly than that one. I dunno if I’m even rooting for them to get together anymore, I just feel sad that to ML, MC seems to embody anything positive he’s ever experienced in his life??? I hope I’m just exaggerating
