Agreed, but again. No letters, no calls, no messages to each other for a whole year?? In stories it sounds really romantic, but like its really easy to give false promises and not contact at all and ghosting basically. It would be a different scenario if the story took place in ancient times, but also she says she couldve gotten his number or something. You really cannot guarantee that 2 years later ppl wouldnt change their mind irl.. Again its fiction so we can assume they both love each other so much to not contact each other at all
