Idk if I’m even allowed to put it like this, but I honestly think the real takeaway from this story is that healing is an active choice. This manhwa literally proved that healing and moving on is a personal choice and actual work…the world doesn't owe you an apology or a magic fix for your pain, and the people who hurt you aren't gonna hand you the keys to your own recovery. We saw this so clearly with Cirrus. His real healing arc didn't start when he made new friends with Chan-il and his squad, nor did it happen just because he fell for Skylar. It truly began the moment he chose to heal and actually put in the work by deciding to stay in Korea, go back to school, fix things with his friends and Skylar, and finally let go of his toxic bond with his dad once and for all. Same goes for Skylar. He didn't magically heal just by moving to a new city and starting over, nor was he completely transformed just by going to therapy and taking meds. He didn't find it when he projected his past onto Chan-il trying to force the closure he deserved, and not even when he fell in love with Cirrus.
It's those consistent, tiny baby steps that create real, total change..not random miracles.
