I do feel like she gave up to quick in the beginning but now it’s looking like it’s moreso she’s worried about dying as that’s the true catalyst for the story. Technically staying away would grant her life as it’s probably connected with the OG FL/ their country or whatever. Hopefully the new chapters focus on that aspect rather than just “I can’t be with him Anymore” simply cuz its her “fate”. Though learning to live for herself and not just for the ML is technically not a bad thing I guess
