Its cause its not cliche. It has a unique storyline, complex characters you can hate but still understand, and the author's writing is just genuinely really good. Also this story Han Garam which itself is more than enough reason to read.
This is my opinion: it's approach to the BL genre is one of a kind. It intertwines classical music and beautiful, unique black-and-white art to portray a really complex relationship between a piano student and his problematic professor who is a famous maestro. The love between them just feels genuine due to the first couple of seasons building up how they know each other.
TLDR: It's peak cuz it's a masterpiece. Been reading BL since the 2010s and this is by far the best one I've ever read. There's a lot of slop out there and this is 100% not one of them.
insane storytelling. it's kept real they don't cut out the difficult moments of them trying to understand each other, which is the icing on the cake for me (also beautiful art, if you go and look up the songs inside, you REALLY feel it it's so special)

It’s soooo interesting I haven’t thought abt anything else since I read this. The art is so beautiful and well thought out. You can tell the author loves their characters and story so much with how much effort they put into making the readers understand why the characters act the way they do. It’s a really complex story especially for a manhwa!!! You’ll understand once you read it
