No. Why would it be? I love to do light makeup. And I say it to everyone that I hate heavy makeup, who point it out to me for doing less.

it only becomes pick me behavior when you begin putting other women down for their preferences of liking heavier makeup for the sake of male attention or validation
im aware of that but everytime im asked for my opinion in like a style of makeup and i say this they think its an attack when its not
Maybe it’s how you’re saying it that’s coming across as an attack? I find that if I’m too blunt in a response it’s often taken the wrong way because it leaves too much room to read between the lines.
“I don’t like heavy makeup.” Could have the undertone of “because I’m performing for the male gaze.” Versus “I love the look of makeup but because I have sensory issues I can only wear light makeup.” Compliment and explanation leaves little for people to second guess an underlying message.
i simply say “I have sensory issues so I don’t do well with heavy makeup.” and i say it casually like im not shaming the person/group im with
