How in the world can the writer think uke's character is anywhere close to convincing? How is he this pathetic even though he is such a successful and rich celebrity? How is his self esteem this fucking low when he had been a professional actor for years?? How is he still THIS NAIVE? An absolute bumbling fool, so easily manipulated by both brothers? He still doesn't know to be discreet in public as a longtime celebrity when it becomes second nature to professionals? How does that make any fucking sense?? Sure he might have had a puppy crush on him as a kid because he relieved his loneliness but he is a grown man now. Puppy crushes don't stay that long without good reason. He might have been shy as a kid, perhaps that's why he was taken to an acting class, to open up a little. But he went on to become an established child actor. And then a successful adult actor. People who work in the entertainment industry have to have a certain kind of tough temperament and unrelenting drive to be able to not only survive but thrive in that industry for that long. I mean just the amount of years uke spent pining uselessly over that boy should have made a difference but the author seems to think their reader is as stupid as they are. Why would an adult uke still like that adult kwonyeong? That boy shows nothing but disrespect and negligence towards the uke and the uke knows it but does nothing?
