Honestly yeah what Aeroc did did not warrant decades upon decades of rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Kloff knows exactly what he’s doing. It’s kind of funny how the author doesn’t even try to address it like we get aeoroc being scared of kloff for a few moments but that’s literally it.
I a million percent agree. Aeroc suffered WAAAAAY too much. Like to an extreme. Unwarranted.
Kloff just used rapiel’s death and revenge as an excuse to just do what he has always wanted. He was ashamed to be in love with another alpha and didn’t want people to look at him like he looked at axa pairs. This is him in first timeline. And he would have been the same in the second timeline too if he hasn’t discovered that aerok is an omega

Genuinely this story was trying to convince us what aeroc did was just as bad as what kloff did to him when it’s just not the case? At least aeroc did not WANT that level of harm to happen to rapiel, it was a single instance of unintentional harm. Versus kloff who literally tortured him intentionally for like a decade. It’s not the same, and one is “forgivable” the other isn’t.
