Although the plot is the same as the novel the artist's interpretation in the manhwa is so much better, the novel felt like a typical light hearted found family fluff story with a money obsessed fl and a tries to be cold but awkward ml the i prefer the more realistic dynamic of the manhwa cuz although the blood plot and princess thingy was good for a generic back to the past novel, the novel just didn't hit as good as the manhwa, the chemistry between the ml and fl, between the other family members, the mother-son father-son relationship dilemmas were portrayed so much better in the manhwa, this might be the first historical ro-fan story were the artist taking creative liberty added so much more suspense and depth to the story and characters
