The Crown Prince is the worst; like we have the abuse of political power and the abuse of divine power all together. The High Priest is awful too; however just a tiny bit better (the difference is a penny’s worth)
Eris got the best ending she could considering the shitty people she had to deal with. Can’t help but smile at her fighting and winning back her autonomy.
I feel like the witches are there not only to have the convenient magic but you could consider the Salem Trials and how those woman were killed as they gained power and autonomy in the form of land and wealth… yes I think using legitimate power carries that same message; where the witches could represent this.
