He has the habit to kiss people he finds cute/ interesting just to mess with them and make the 5 dominant alpha who are capturing him angry (including Keith's alpha dad), especially when he is in a bad mood/trying to run away. People around him including his children know about his attitude and dont want to further trigger his suicidal tendency so they just go alone with his actions. You can also see Keith nonchalantly talked about his omega dad's always on the run in chap 22.

I do not understand something about te omega that gave birth to keith. Is he on bad terms with his partner? He is running away, what's his deal?

The omega who gave birth to Keith is called Angel. He is a dominant omega who manifested in his teenages year, then was kidnapped and sold to 5 dominant alphas from 5 powerful families to breed dominant children (dominant + dominant has 100% chances for dominant offspring). These 5 includes Keith's alpha father. Usually a dominant omega can subdue a dominant alpha but with 5 dom alpha at the same place they were able to trigger Angel's heat to ensure pregnancy. Even 'Angel' is a nickname given to him to erase his real birth name. Angel always tries to run away but due to heavy monitoring by the 5 families he is always caught. That's why Angel will do absurd things to annoy those alphas (kiss people he likes, sleep with servant on their bed, etc) to suidicidal things like swallow jelwery to die (aka why Keith and his other sons have to handpick his jelwery).

I mean this is an abo world and with normal & dominant genes so there will be some elites with the mindset they are the center of everything. You can also see that mindset in their children (Keith) but Yeonwoo is at least more resilient. Some other abo series from the same author shows different dynamic between the couples but there is a general favor towards the alpha and especially dominant alpha.

But it is not a thing about this author in particular. In both mangas and manhwas. We often see The top/seme characters having a tendency to be jerks and rewarded for it. And they want to pain abusive attitude, controlling and stalking as romantic. Even rape, how many stories in BL and even shojo have rape and yet they end up in love together? I can not believe these tropes are still the norm.

It's because this has become a popular trope, just like isekai/ transmigration/ reincarnation or the villainess-turn-out-good tropes. Some might found them tacky absurding while others prefer their entertainment over 100% sweet story. If you want to avoid this trope I would recommend checking out high school/ uni love/ childhood love stories, it is not completely free of these jerk characters but they tend to have more likable characters. I see that majority of workplace and especially abo stories will have the unlikable asshole tropes.

It has been a popular trope for far too long in my opinion, even many yaoi high school stories involve jerks and even rape. It is not like i can not read stories like that. The main issue is that the stories seem to be resolved in the same way all the time. Where the top/seme characters never really seem to face any concencuences for their actions, in some cases they do not even admit their wrong actions, and so everything becomes predictable. And that is only covering things like being jrerks or arrogant. Because i hardly see any possible way for a ''love'' story involving rape to end in any other way that does not involve the uke or girl leaving the rapist.But time and time again we see the rapist getting his man/girl in the end.

Kiss me liar follows the same trope but I still think the idea of the omega (Yeonwoo) can put a trap on the alpha (permenantly marks him then just run away) is still some attempt for reclaiming his stand, though he gives in very quickly after. Also about Keith's omega dad...

.the story about him is planned to revolve more about revenge since the context made it clear that he truly feel disgusted by all the 5 alpha. Since he is canonically strong enough to fight less than 5 alphas at once, people assume he can have a chance for revenge if planned properly. Whether or not he will have a new love interest along the way or just focusing on his revenge story alone is still unknown.

I agree. Kiss me liar does try to paint the uke as stronger and more determinated. That arc was resolved quickly but it's still something. And keith did get his karma with Yeonwoo's memory loss arc. So it is better than many others where they never pay the consequences of anything.

If keith's omega father does get a successful revenge arc, that would be interesting and a very needed change for these kinds of stories.

damn! Never knew. Thought most parents in omegaverse if they got their alpha and omega pair, they would not let go and have their clique forever in love trope. Angel seems like an interesting character where he is still trying to run away despite being "chained" to the other 5 alphas or his sons trying to evade his triggers. Why are they still clinging to his poor soul? A huge pay after he "completed" his job, gave them dominant alphas sons shall have already been suffice to not pester the poor guy.

he might have made the 5 dom alphas impotent after giving birth to a son for each family. That's why Keith only has half sibling and not any full blooded siblings. Them still chasing and locking him up can be their personal attachment, punishment for making them infertile or attempt to try to see if they can still have kids.

How could 5 people have an attachment to him? Also they have him locked in one place and the 5 of them visit? It isstrange. And his story sounds really sad. But i would love for him to be free in the end.

Not all 5 but some there are details like one of them (I think Keith's alpha dad) tries to act nice by giving him what he asked for (an eagle) and Angel slept with the eagle trainer on their bed, which made the others ridiculed him later. Even if any of the 5 has personal attachment, no one will stand up to claim him for themeselves since it means they will go against the other 4.

So they still have him for sex? I see no point in why they do not release him. Also attachment and love are 2 different things. And since angel hates all 5 of them. His story has a lot of potential for an arc about freedoom. It would be great if he is able to free himself.

Oh my...Lowkey a nice twist to omegaverse. If so, that is nice that the rapists alphas had their punishment made by the omega they assaulted and took for granted his freedom. So many stories, the alpha assholes do go unpunished or get their forever love after they literally raped their "love of their life", ffs. Booooo, shoooo. Heard that in this universe, at least the dominant omegas have some "powers" over the dominant alphas. Angel making those bitches infertile at will is freaking funny, lmao. DESERVED! If he can find his cottage free lifestyle far away from them while gaining some sense of control-stability within his life, that would be so satisfying. (Though with BL authors, they always have to give everyone a pair).
