I feel like I’ve read this plot in yaoi format several times (usually short stories) and the male protagonist never gets this much hate or gets called a whore/slut/etc.
Is this because the audience for straight smut is unused to this type of story? Or is this a perfect example of female characters being held to a far higher standard than male characters?
After all, this is clearly a porn without plot story. If this story didn’t start off the bat with sex maybe you could hold it to a higher standard, but it’s pretty obvious from the start what we’re getting into. It’s honestly weird to read a pwp story and complain about the mc for being a slut when the sex is what people are here for lol.
