Don’t. He’s getting what he deserves. He killed her countless times over the lies of others and just didn’t care enough to verify the claims. He’s only caring now because everyone else cares. The duke was neglectful but he didn’t actually harm her and her brother is her bio brother so she held some semblance of kinship towards him as someone in the same position as her. Her bio dad explained himself but truth be told, she never knew about him to begin with so there was nothing to cleanse to have a clean slate with him. Janier is janier. Hes unrelated to all of this as he, too, was adopted. The only person who harmed her over and over again was ludville. Also, since hes the heir to the dukedom, all the information about the manor would go to him since theres no duchess. He wilfully ignored all that the staff were doing to her and didn’t report them to the duke to be sorted out. He did so much wrong that there’s no possible way for him to completely cleanse his karma in this lifetime. The author might let him out of the proverbial dog house later but he honestly doesn’t deserve it at all. In fact, I’d argue that both brothers should be in the dog box since they were both in the same household and her bio brother should have protected her and her adoptive brother should have done his duty as the heir even if he didn’t care for her since she was a guest if she wasn’t family. That being said, I understand her forgiving her bio brother for it since he was stuck between a rock and a hard place and he did the best he could to get out on top. So don’t feel bad for ludville.

I feel so bad for Ludville :C
