This book is very odd i just started chap.1 and it really gives off the “white savior” trope. I hate how Beom is a black(?) man and yet he’s being treated like an animal. They also make it seem as if the emperor is doing Beom a favor by taking him in and letting him have sex with him. It’s very dehumanizing and weird coming from a black person.
