100000% agree. The biggest problem is that even tho I also think he needs some serious help because he is totally mentally ruined atp, it would only work if Mokyeon accepts by himself that he needs to change and will push through it. But now I don't see it happening because he is just constantly going deeper down. I kinda thought that he would have end up in some hospital after trying to kill himself and finally have some life realization. I guess I was too positive.

To be completely real, this chapter was honestly such a letdown for me as a fan of this manhwa. It delivered literally NONE of what I was expecting! The author totally subverted my expectations for the plot in the worst way (I mean, she might actually be right and I could be wrong -which kind of tracks given Mok's miserable mental state and complete lack of self-respect just to get validation- but I really expected things to take a totally different turn!).
Even the suicide attempt didn't get enough screen time for us to actually grieve it. I feel like the author realized that the whole suicide plotline had already drained all the readers' tears and sympathy before it even happened, so she just rushed through it in like two panels! Like, this chapter was supposed to be devastating and painful to read to the point where I literally procrastinated for hours just to mentally prepare myself for the emotional and psychological damage... but what I got was way more infuriating than sad.
Ever since the start of season two, most of us really started feeling for Mok. We got to see his whole background -his childhood, his teens, his early adulthood- and we gradually started understanding how his mind works based on his past and all the unhealed trauma he's been carrying. It's just so painfully tragic how someone can attempt suicide, fail, and literally NO ONE even notices or cares...!!!! Like bro, if you actually think about it, that is utterly horrifying.
I genuinely expected this to be a major turning point where Mok would finally start fixing his relationships, reflecting on his actions, and actually feeling remorse.. but instead, nobody even realized he almost lost his life! And now he’s back to spiraling in the exact same vicious cycle of self-sabotage, stalking, and humiliating himself. All for what? To catch a glimpse of someone who couldn't care less about him?! (Just to end up dying, and when that person finally finds out, Mok stays trapped in their memory forever..whether as endless guilt, a permanent scar, or an inescapable nightmare? WHY Though?!)
I desperately need someone to knock some sense into Mok’s head so his brain can function properly again because I am officially DONE with this.
