The story was interesting, however inaccurate and that's the major take home. No author is perfect and clearly they wanted to just make this a fun and short read. Y'all should chill.

No where did I state I was strongly upset TAT. I simply said that due to my own interests that it bothered me. Secondly just because it's fiction doesn't mean it can't be accurate. Yes, you can't make everything true to life and you have to embellish a little. But there should still be enough reality to ground things in there. There's also the fact that they are using a very real thing that people have that is LAREGELY misunderstood and misrepresented that they clearly didn't know much about or didn't care to accurately portray. The author very much could have made something up based on DID which would satisfy what they wanted while not having to concern about misrepresentation. The story is interesting and I have no issue with the idea simply that they used something real wrongly. Like, Sia's movie music was about a real thing that many people have that is also commonly misunderstood and she represented it wrong. Doing this hurt many of those in the community she represented and could have contributed to more misinterpretations. Yes, this is just a random yaoi. And yes, yaoi often mis-portrays gay relationships and overlays toxic gender stereotypes on them. But regardless my point stands that it wouldn't have been that hard to just make up something that sounded real as opposed to lazily using the label of something that is. And with the fact that this comic is what it is the author wouldn't have needed to try that hard to explain "yeah this is totally realistically real and is kinda similar to this thing, trust". I just find it to break my "yeah, sure, I'll buy that for a dollar" more when they use real things in a very inaccurate way as opposed to making sh*t up.
Haha, can't tell if you're serious or not but I appreciate it nonetheless. I have always thought myself to have bad grammar and been told so throughout much of my childhood. Eventually I just gave up and said "f*ck it". Especially given how much of my vocabulary and linguistic style changes by being around specific people. Personally I think what you wrote was a lot cooler.

I'm not sure if its the translation making the story kinda awkward sounding but I like it so far, except that I can't get over the inaccurate description and depiction of DID. DID is when a child suffers such severe abuse that their consciousness splits and their brain creates multiple personalities to protect the main personality. These personalities are often created from a specific thing the main personality needs protection from. So far we have found that while someone who has DID can form new personalities but you can only develope it in the first place as a child. It's an extreme response to extreme abuse. The new personalities are often formed based off images the individual has and what they need that personality to do. An example is a woman, a friend of a family member of mine, who got in a car accident that induced a really bad panic attack (she already had multiple personalities) developed a personality that was a Latin woman that had no fear behind the wheel and took no shit because that's what made the most sense to her brain (people don't pick their personalities, the brain forms them based off of what would make the main personality feel safest taking biases and beliefs into account). Another would be of a young girl who developed a personality of an older boy that would be strong enough to stand up to those who physically hurt her. The main personality often doesn't have the memories of the others because they are meant to shield the main one from moments that are too painful to handle and usually only come out when they need to (though the other personalities can remain in control after the moment). Usually the other personalities have some knowledge of the others and there can be one in charge who's supposed to manage the protection of the main one. Sexuality doesn't have to do with personality
While I'm not sure if the different personalities could be attracted to different types I felt like the implication in the comic was that sexuality had to do with personality which isn't true. I know this is a comic with a very stereotypical depiction of homosexuality. This is just something in particular I care about. I feel like the author could've just done Jekyll and Hyde. "This traumatic incident lead me to want to separate my memories but resulted in me having 2 personalities after I did/was involved in some experiment". They wouldn't need to go too hard into sci-fi or supernatural to do it. Well that's my TED Talk
