I think the issue is that the employees would have to work overtime and they would have to source parts from very much more expensive places because of that. So in the long run it might not be a huge savings after all. I THINK.
it's because it comes with an online scandal about overtime, and it looks like they are covering up employee concerns with free bikes. of course that doesn't reflect well on their small family business if the public finds our the connection.
