I mean, I like the ML, but it just seems impossible and stupid for them to get a happy ending. It would’ve been way better if he lived for a bit and then ended his life away from the MC—I think that’d be a satisfying ending for everyone. He’s depressed, and there’s no one to pull him out of that abyss. I don’t blame the MC for their actions either, it’s so creepy to have someone like the ml around you, so it’s only realistic for him to just die.
