I think it’s because of the way he treated chase and traumatized him. It’s not in this story but the other one where chase is the main ml. And i think they also hate it bcoz he said that he doesn’t mind sleeping with their omega sibling if the situation arises.

Indeed, he's not outwardly evil. He's psychopathic, in the sense of his emotion processing is kinda blocked or smth. He couldn't understand or express emotion 'naturally', as you might have noticed he 'acted' as a response to others feelings. And it's slightly angsty because all Greyson want is to 'help', show his care, but his way of doing it is beyond moral

This was a good explanation on that convo about Bliss. The adaptation just lacks context and non novel readers mostly comprehended it straightforwardly. Hope you find time to check it. Author also recently clarified it.

This is just my own understanding from reading the novel, but I hope it makes some things clear!!!

So extreme alphas aren't really viewed positively in this world's society. Normal people see them as deranged beasts who have sex parties and act like psychopaths wherever they go. Although many also view people with this phenotype as elites, like country leaders (Grayson's dad Ashley), and some are popular actors (Grayson's brother Chase)

Extreme alpha hate still happens, and Grayson experiences that since he acts highkey like an asshole to a lot of people and doesn't really care about their opinion on him which infuriates them even more

1st case, idk if it was mentioned in the manhwa, but he's trying to find his fated mate and thus dates people only to dump them with "sorry, you're not my fated mate" and disappear. Note that his relationship last for days to months at best I think? And he changes his job depending on the person he's currently pursuing, so he also quits that job afterward. Some of his past lovers are also getting hate from their other colleagues because of that. So naturally, a group chat about his past victims got created and they're all waiting to see him crash and burn. Naomi was invited to join this group chat lmao but she refused (and they're sharing latest information about him like a bunch of stalker. I'm actually really surprised that no one tried to stab him...)

2nd case, he got into the fire station as a firefighter through nepotism, so the other firefighters think he's looking down on them and their profession, since this extreme alpha is using connections just to get a job. That's the main conflict between him and the firefighters, and we know Grayson doesn't really care about the job anyway. He's only there to find Dane!

3rd, he traumatized his brother Chase through different things ever since they were children. Although his main intention was to "help," his way of helping is fucked up, and Chase's trauma still affects him up until the present, which really upsets Joshua, Chase's husband. Joshua is really just Grayson's #1 hater, and I think that's perfectly valid and understandable if you read KMIYC.

And 4th, Grayson has been nothing but annoying to Dane at this point in the story. Can we really blame him if he wants to beat him up? But even though he's annoyed, he keeps seeing that Grayson is really not as bad as people think he is.

Yes, he might do unthinkable things, like stay locked up in the basement with a child so he's not too lonely while being punished. He's not doing evil things deliberately just to fuck people up, and I think Dane understands that. But at this point in the story, he's far too annoyed to give a shit about Grayson.

He's never been the kind to be violent without a reason. Everything he does is to defend himself. It's self-defense!!!

So yeah, I think those are some of the reasons and I think they're pretty valid but in my eyes he's really just an untrained puppy
