It was a good read, but I really wasn't feeling the plot. I honestly don't get why raping is so normalized in manhwas like this. The guy who violated the MC almost felt like the ML—in fact, I bet the author originally intended for him to be the ML because they dumped WAY too many spicy scenes with him that didn't even matter to the story. It was super annoying watching the MC blush around him at first, and then suddenly flip a switch and act all disgusted. Like, bro, he literally violated you from day one, it shouldn't take you that long to hate his guts! And even after all that, he never fully shut down the intimacy. Even his chemistry with the actual ML feels totally hollow. It's like huge plot points just pass by and nobody even reacts. Even when they found out they knew each other as kids, zero shock! Their backstory is just all over the place, and the timeline is SO weird! Plus, we barely got any actual smut between the main couple. They seriously owe me compensation for making me endure those uncomfortable scenes with the black-haired guy. As for the side couple, they were cute and I don't really have complaints there, but the rape at the start was terrible too—why does every relationship have to start like that? I mean, it was a cozy read overall, but you literally have to turn your brain off to enjoy it. Just my opinion.
