If u mean in general then yes. I think it’s very easy to form a porn addiction from reading too much yaoi sometimes I wished I never read any bls cuz now I have a serious addiction lol

no, i feel like if i wanted to find a way to procrastinate for studying, i wouldve found something else which filled the same gap of time anyway. pointless to blame yaoi for my lack of discipline.

(im just coping. bring me back to my old self 3 years ago. ive read some horrid things here)

never, changed my life, if it wasn't for yaoi I might've never discovered my favourite author ever in the universe

No not at all. I ultimately did discover yaoi because of NSFW. But hear me out, I come from a time where finding manhwa porn catered towards women was near impossible. All of it was catered for men, and I hated it. Then i discovered yaoi. The singular panel of shitty foreplay moved me so much, I thought I would cry. So in the very beginning I would just read porn filled yaoi whenever I felt horny (and I was a teenager at that time so the hormones were crazy) then i stumbled upon “Define the Relationship” and I learned that you can have the mix of good smut, aftercare and fluff all in one. I was ecstatic. Now during this time we were getting some straight manhwas with smut catered towards women but yaoi was just so much better. I then discovered shounen ai that talked about struggles of being queer and honestly at that point my love towards BL had surpassed my love for Shouju. I do read Yuri but I mostly prefer reading it without smut (I kinda avoid it cause it reminds me alot of my crush and I like her alot but she’s freaking married to a man and so whenever I see a happy wlw couple I just feel pain… give me some time I’ll hopefully get over it) overall I don’t regret finding yaoi. I feel relieved that I found it later in life because I am sure my preteen homophobic ass would’ve under appreciated it. (I still find it funny, in my 7 years of reading manhwa it took me so long to give bl a proper try- I first started reading it in 2022)

Never experienced much gender envy before I started reading bl, now I’m suffering. Love being a lesbian, love being a girl, but dear GOD do I get insane jealousy from pretty boys
