most red flag ml's I read are them acknowledging their past wrongdoings with MC, and then they cry, beg and chase them and their words are almost the same. But Idk I love the slow realisation on ml here, the denial, everything, and how he didn't outwardly show it or anything and how he struggled to act like it's all fine, that it's nothing and the way he contradicts himself with everything he says and does. It's satisfying seeing him unravel and suffer from the memories of him tormenting MC, aware or not.

Ml is so messed up but his character is really different from most "red flag mls". Like he isn't bland per se (i don't even know what I'm saying anymore cause I'm just so emotional atp
