Obviously it's something along these lines and it's still as lame and ridiculous as it gets. The writer is using every terrible trope in the book this season and there's no saving it
I think Taesung did this so that he won't be forced to be with another women introduced by his grandfather, think about it, if it was his grandfather, itself highly likely that the women introduced will do everything the grandfather wanted and force Taesung into doing things he doesn't want but if it's his father that sets up the blind date, they can find someone who can "act" and pretend to be his fiancee to avoid his grandfather finding one for him, I think the blinddate ady knows about this situation, not in details but something along the lines of pretending for the sake of something, that way Taesung is safe from his grandfather in this situation
