Korean writers really write american stories with a korean temper lol. No korean author, american people dont care about calling someone by their name even if they aren't close because this isn't korea where formality matters. So yes, they will call you by your name. And no, Americans don't use sns, that's a korean thing.
Authors at least research a little bit before you write about a culture you aren't familiar with. This is writing 101. Another writing rule 101? Maintain suspension of disbelief. If you have written a worldbuilding with its own internal rules, be mindful about it and don't go breaking it like an idiot. If you are writing a story set in American society with American characters, don't insert korean norms into it. That's how you break suspension of disbelief and ruin the reading experience. Korean authors do the same shit with Russian characters. Just don't write them if you are gonna do such a bad and insincere job with it. Stick to what you know if you can't put the effort.
Also why would the ML take off his mask at such a crucial moment, DURING A BANK ROBBERY? Just so MC could call him Arthur? How does that make any sense? Author you really didn't put ANY effort into it did you? Ah BL authors and their lack of talent.
