watching the anime then jumping to manga is so confusing

I had the same experience because, the anime shows two timelines. The "future" and the "past". On the blue haired wannabe mc is the future timeline while our REAL mc is the past timeline. Honestly, they should've just made one timeline at a time 'cause its really confusing switching sides.

Right?! It would be better if we follow MC progress but then we will side with Shiro and demon army, while watching the anime made is side with hero party
