I've been told that this would be a short series so I doubt we'd see any resolution in terms of like the baseballer's soul (I guess that's the best was to describe it) cause it's just depressing that a man in his prime, working a career that he loves (I assume anyways) has just been almost erased. If this was a longer series I would have loved to that resolution.
But can't ask for too much cause this is just smut with a sprinkle of plot, not that I'm complaining ╮(￣▽￣)╭
