We're back to the prison POV! We open with Jingi and Myeongil (accidentally?) cuddling together after sex. Myeongil pretends to be alseep when Jingi wakes up and he immediately turns away to hide his expression. Jingi catches him pretending and teases that Myeongil probably tried to kiss him again while he was asleep (which Myeongil heavily denies while blushing). Myeongil is surprised by how normal Jingi is acting after their bout of intimate sex. It seems like he's the only one overthinking and feeling embarrassed about what happened.
During prison recess Myeongil's gambling friends complain about how loud they were last night. Meanwhile Myeongil, completely spaced out, thinks about how him and Jingi have been awkward around each other since the morning. He thinks he's the only one feeling something from last night and admits that the sex was good. His thoughts are interrupted when he loses his bet. The gambling friends tease him about the sex being so good that he couldn't even pay attention. Myeongil stomps away, embarrassed.
At the greenhouse Jingi is tending to plants while thinking about last night. He convinces himself that he didn't cross the line with Myeongil, but when he recalls Myeongil enthusiastically sucking on his fingers he knows he's fucked. As Jingi walks back to the cell him he meets Myeongil at the door and they seem awkward around each other.
Time passes and Myeongil and Jingi are sitting together watching a documentary, something Myeongil and Heonjae used to do together while Jingi would read newspapers and ignore them. Jingi hasn't touched Myeongil since. The documentary talks about how wolves will leave the pack when they know they're about to die so they can die alone and not worry their family, which reflects Jingi's own intentions. As Jingi stays captivated by the doc Myeongil notices the wolf figurine left alone in their storage area. He plays with it briefly then returns to Jingi's side to continue watching the doc with him.
Cut to 8 days left until Myeongil's release. Jingi hands him a large bag of stamps as the regular monthly payment for chores and sex. Myeongil feels reluctant to take the bag after all that's happened and the chapter ends here.

Man, time is moving fast between these chapters! I think we were 2 weeks out 2 chapters ago and now we're almost at 1 week left. I'm still not ready to see these two separated... we're finally seeing more relationship development only for it to be cut short by Myeongil's release. At least I'm hoping the author keeps the prison POV consistent for the next few chapters or until season ends. It's been jarring going back and forth between prison/Heonjae and imo it ruins the momentum of the character/relationship development.
