Dale is just such a G, Cynthia is a bit airheaded and stupid so she gets distracted easily and loses her main goal, which was to get out of the engagement/mansion, Ik that shes inlove now and whatnot and im not blaming her for that, its just she doesn't really make proper plans on how to move forward now that shes inlove with the ML. However the reason I like Dale so much is because of how smart and cunning he is, his actions and morales are hard to specify because hes kind of like an anti-hero, he really makes up for Cynthias stupidity and airheadness. Because even tho Cynthias lost the goal or is moving recklessly with no plan whatsoever, Dale is truly trying to save her without her even knowing, like he truly is just trying to protect an innocent girl caught up in that old bastards evil plan, and is trying to prevent what happend to the og fl, yes some of his actions and words may be mean and a bit controversial, but his heart/morals is truly in the right place. Also please dont bring up how even though Cynthias stupid the ML will do something, like yes I know the ML will do something, that is very obvious, but Cynthia doesn't know that does she? Nor does Dale, this is about a present situation that not even the ML currently knows or fully grasps, thats why I really like Dale, he truly is very cunning and clever.
