He could have asked if SHE wanted the scar gone, maybe she took honor on it from a past battle, maybe she like it, we don't know...cuz he never asked. I did like it, it gave her personality, some distinctive from the others generic oh so pretty FL. I'm pretty sure the autor was tired of having to place the scar perfectly for the plot continuity and decided it was time to remove it lol
