what do u think is a better thing to do? marinating a manhwa for a loooong time and reading all the chapters in one go or reading it while it is being updated? i personally think that reading it while it is being updated is better coz it keeps me attached to the manhwa for a long time instead of just reading and ending all of it in one day

    It really depends.
I do both. There are certain ongoings that I just let marinate because it frustrates me or sometimes let it marinate because the story is so good that if I finish it while it's ongoing. I would only get frustrated over waiting for uploads. lol

I find light-hearted stories or some shallow and toxic stories much easier to keep reading and wait for updates mostly because I really don't care much for it. Or the story isn't heavy or can be predictable that's why I keep reading and don't mind waiting for uploads.

deciding to let a work marinate sometimes depends on the plot for me. if it's a thriller or it's misunderstanding-heavy, i find more satisfaction in reading it all in one go.

i find that messy, angsty, cute, light-hearted or comedic plots can be fun to read while ongoing because i love getting to experience all the reactions and discussions as the story unfolds. part of the experience is also sharing the moment with the author and fellow readers through the author's extra art, fan art, comments and discussions whenever we get an update. and i feel like it's that community aspect that adds to the attachment. ദദ◝ ⩊ ◜.ᐟ

for me it depends. if I immediately like the story from ch 1-4, I'll read it while still being updated. but if I sense this is going to be real bad hmm yeah.. imma just wait till it's ended then read it in one goΣ( ̄□ ̄||)

Marinateee I tend to forget easily and I have to read it again if it's still ongoing which is frustrating. Js marinate it enough until it reached 10 updates then marinate again

The thing is I usually let a manhwa marinate for months or even years and I completely forget about it so I have to read it from chapter 1 again. There have even been times when I let a manhwa marinate, only to realize that it’s on hiatus. So idk if you’re really curious just read it and if not just let it marinate
