Yay, me too, I loved this chapter so much! I personally think that Enzo is definitely playing Rian, but not in a really bad way, more like how he pretended to be prettier during their first lunch together. He’s obsessed with Rian, but he's a cat, so he's also obsessed with playing games.
And I think Enzo's gonna be an insufferable tease, but the most important thing is happening- gasp! Rian is going to enjoy it, or more like, ENJOY IT! Well, at this point, it feels like a miracle ╮(￣▽￣)╭

That’s such a true description of his character, wow! He’s so into that face, I’m sure he’s about to make his own mission impossibly more complicated. But let's be fair; he’s very goal-oriented. Being the good person that he is, Rian would suffer more if he tried to do the same thing to Enzo... but who says he can’t have a good time, right?
Well, Enzo's learning fast, while it's totally a mix of things he genuinely doesn't understand, things he doesn't give a shit about, and things he pretends he doesn't understand. I still think he needs to learn real intimacy, but interestingly, just being near Rian is already teaching him about that~ so cute!

for me, i enjoyed how both of them stayed pretty much true to character this chapter, even with all the developments and reveals. adrian's promiscuity and weakness for pretty faces have always been both his strength (in his career) and fatal flaw. he's constantly fawned over how pretty lorenzo is throughout the series, so i dont think it's that surprising he still wants a piece of that cake after all that. our man really wants to collect his pretty trophy (maybe even save him). also feeling a little vindicated about what i said last chapter about rian showing enzo what human intimacy looks like... this chapter already feels like the gears have really started turning.
as for enzo, even his "being led" or "taught" was done in a way where he's only giving the appearance of submission (i love their power play sm). he's playing along, but he's still very much in control. he's being more indulgent of adrian, letting him take the reins without actually letting go of them himself. there's so much sarcasm from him, but it's great seeing his playful side shine through this chapter. it was also confirmed that he's not as inexperienced as he's let on, and that he actually deliberately made sure their past noncon tumbles were completely unenjoyable for adrian, which only added another layer of wickedness to him. that just made those last few panels of rian realizing it all the more scrumptious to me lol. can't wait to see how rian pushes back next chapter (please edge enzo. he better bark like he wants it)
