There's a shield around the empire, created with a contract between goddess and the first saint. It saved the land from illnesses and disasters.
It was tainted by decaying temple and the goddess didn't have much power. The only thing she could do was enter the priest right before Esther killed herself.
She (Goddess) proceeded to return Esther 15 times back so her soul could gain more power that was needed to destroy the corrupted temple and shield and create a new one. That's why Esther is so overpowered.
Paras will turn away from the church and will be helping people in a new facility sponsored by the Duke.
Large reason why Goddess can't reach Esther is because she doesn't believe in her and don't want to do anything with her.

So she's aware her temple has been corrupted.
It's sad that Esther had to suffer 15 lifetimes like that to become strong because the God herself has become weak. I guess the God doesn't have other choices because Esther is destined to be the next Saintess.
And it make sense, she will not be able to communicate with Esther because Esther has lost faith in her and doesn't believe in her anymore.
Was it ever mentioned why she still gives revelations or power to those corrupted priests?
Hmm... I don't understand how this God thing and revelations work in this manwha. Is that God unable to even perceive what her so called priests are doing? Why are they still getting revelations? Why do they still have holy power? Is it something she can't take away once given? Can anyone with holy power, or maybe a certain quality of holy power, pray in like that special room, maybe, and get revelations?
Was Esther's regressions just a power that comes with her being a strong saint or was it given as a help by their God? But if it's a sort of help, doesn't that mean she knows what's going on? Why not do something, like give revelations to 'decent' priests that can make a diff? Why let Esther suffer?
I guess it can be argued that the God is weakened due to continuously regressing Esther but she can still make revelations and Esther's power seems to be stronger than before since she awoken early so that God should have been able to do something, right?
So far the only decent people in this Temple had been the Saintess and that Paras(?) head priest. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
