It is likely this story was created and published far before the war began. The dislikes are likely from people who would prefer to keep this space non political and just talk about the manga itself.

Israel doing atrocities for more than 50 years tho? Ppl thinking world politics is not their business just shows their ignorance.
We live in a world where politics is everywhere from sports to entertainment all. You can't deny that.
For example ppl in Philippines mostly think it's not their business what Israel is doing..... But the same ppl are losing their island to the rich Israeli ex-army who went to the Philippines in the name of vacation after the war.

This is not a shit post, but by this logic, also we must boycott the following;

Russia, China, Germany, North Korea...

Also if we are going by total people killed, almost every other country in the world...

I already said that I don't care what other people think. I'm boycotting those whom I think are demons on earth.
It's not like I'm forcing other people to do the same. So what's the issue?

Also, I've never seen any other country's military celebrating on the internet after shooting/bombing children. I don't even consider them as much as sub-humans

Russia, & Germany did exactly that during end of WWII. Killing and pillaging and raping each others citizens - celebrating when they did. China under Mao killed somewhere between 40-70 million of his own people, often by forced starvation. North Korea did the same to and estimated 1 million of its own people. Cambodia once killed almost a quarter of its own population. Terrorist groups from many countries in the middle east frequently post celebratory videos after raping and beheading civilians of countries they deem their enemies.

If you qualify Israel-Gaza as genocide, in the realm of world history it is actually quite small. If we further say we will not read a comic if a geographical location is even mentioned if that geographical place has committed atrocities.... (I just got current, I think it is literally mentioned one time?) then we could read no comics at all.

I didn't like something Starbucks did once, I stopped buying their coffee, I didn't avoid anywhere a starbucks was - I wouldn't be able to move. I would simply point out that this is fiction, author has no connection to Israel that I can see, thus your "boycott" is ineffective and pointless.

Read through ten chapters, it will do nothing in support of Israel...but you might like the story, I think so far it is pretty decent.

I'm saying this again... Boycotting something is my choice and I'm not trying to force people do the same. I'm not doing this for any effect here.
I'm just using my free will as a free person.

I understand, but also;

1. You aren’t boycotting “Israel” you are boycotting a story that mentioned a city in Israel.
2. If you are simply boycotting and not for any “effect” then there is no reason to comment…once you comment you are initiating conversation, which is also fine.

I do appreciate that you are not rude and etc during responses, even if it’s just comics and commenting - the world needs more people who are willing to talk. My summary is essentially find ways to boycott where it affects the thing you are against financially, I don’t see ignoring a comic as having any effect in this situation.
