Okay, he’s an asshole, but what was the point of adding a rape scene out of nowhere? I genuinely don’t understand. Does this actually turn some people on, so authors deliberately put it in their works? What scares me even more is the possibility that the two of them might fall in love later on! Like, okay, if the rape was necessary to show us just how awful the black-haired guy is, fine. But if he suddenly turns into a good person later in the story and becomes all sweet and nice, that’s honestly really disturbing.
