We can empathize with him and his brother. Feel bad for him but also enjoy his retribution when it comes. The author is playing with that duality and its the best thing about this story imo
The same way you feel bad for Chase when he was a bitch to everyone even Josh at the start . Did you forget everything he did or just brush it a side because it’s Chase .
