sorry i haven't read the novel
Lick me up is starts as highschool romance between the parents but soon become slightly more angsty as they move to adulthood. It definitely is worth reading as they are interesting characters beyond being known as the parents.
Eat me up is sth I would only recommend if you are used to reading dark toxic story with tragic ending. None of the main characters are good people and reading it feel like watching a car crash in slow motion, you know it will end badly but cannot stop it. The narrative is very captivating if you can go through all that.
to be honest I would absolutely not read eat me up if you can but to each their own:/ what Dominick (Dominique?) does to Ashley is horrible and disturbing.

Quickly, I can tell you that Ashley is a manipulative maniac who wants Koi all to himself and he will do anything and everything to achieve that. Koi lives in an Ashley bubble and in his eyes Ashley can’t do anything wrong.
Didn’t realise at first that that’s the name of the novel and genuinely assumed you were a freak like that

No, not yet. I might be wrong but I don’t think the novel is complete yet??
Novel is complete but considering the short length (25 chaps) and dark theme, it may take a while for manhwa adaptation to be approved
I also found that interesting because if they do live apart it might be because Ashley is a politician aspiring to be the president and I think Koi stayed behind at their house on the west coast. But in terms of their love, they did go through A LOT of angst so getting through those trials and tribulations and still withstanding them are probably why they say that :)
